By the time I got to work this morning 8 or 9 surveillance cameras had logged my presence. There's one in the lobby of my apartment building, one inside the ATM, one in the deli, one on the subway, one on the corner near Planned Parenthood, one in the other deli, one in the lobby by the elevator, one in the elevator, and one that, as I type, is pointed at my desk. And those are just the cameras I know about. There may be a camera trained on you. We are all being watched, all the time. Does it matter?
